ABOUT ME
I have a Masters in Mental Health Counselling from Brooklyn College, a member of the City University of New York system. I also hold a Bachelor degree in Psychology from Wesleyan University in Connecticut.
My interest in counselling originally began well over three decades ago with my work in a psychiatric hospital and in a suicide prevention service, and continued with my recent work as a therapist at the Training Institute for Mental Health in New York. In between, I spent 22 years as a consultant and partner in a top level global executive search firm, and another nine years prior to that working at IBM. I have now returned to my original goal of becoming a psychotherapist.
Having lived my entire life in Hong Kong, I speak both English and Cantonese, although I primarily use English in a therapy setting.
